Finally in Milano at the Società del Quartetto we’ll premiere The Art of the Fugue by Bach. I wanted so much this project. This visionary work.
And I will perform it switching between my viola and a wonderful tenor viola made by my friend Pietro Gargini. It will be tuned a fifth lower than the normal viola setting.
It means: RE-SOL-DO-FA (D-G-C-F)
After 20 years of quartet playing it was time to look forward to a new dimension of music!
